May WIPocalypse

The question for May is Which designer’s projects do you absolutely love, but are too intimidated to try?

There isn't any that I'm intimidated by when it comes to stitching I'm willing to try anything once, Chatalaine would best fit this question, so gorgeous, but complicated and pricey due to specialty flosses that I don't have., I don't have any objection to the cost, but it does make me hold off a bit, I don't want to spend the money and then not get to it, and I have way to many things planned before I would get to it, But essentially I WANT THIS, but I'd want to do it on black.

So in a strange turn of events for me, I put aside the Fractal last month because I wanted to make sure I finished the Vimy Ridge sampler in time for the fair, little did I know that this would be a really quick piece, I've never really done a true sampler before so I had no clue how long it would take, turns out, just over a month, I'm almost done already

I also put aside some time to FINISH some things, so now the Canada 150 Pillow and Mulan are completely ready for the fair.

As for what I watched

Critical Role, Talks Machina and Table Top

Supernatural S12 E19-23 And that’s the end of Season 12, and on a cliff hanger of course, but it was so nice to see Bobby again,

Timeline - A group of archaeologists go back in time to medieval France, all the usual clichés happen in a highly entertaining way.

Titan AE - A sci-fi animated adventure from Don Bluth, I’ve always loved this one, there isn’t enough good English animation aimed at someone other than young girls, and I’m not complaining about those cause I love them too, I just wish there was more variety.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 - Nearly as much fun as the first,

Tremors 3: Back to Perdition - So the first Tremors movie is a favorite and when I decided to replace my VHS the cheapest way to get it was to buy the 4 pack. I am going to watch these in reverse order of favoriteness as opposed to chronological order.

Battlestar Galactica: 1978 Commentary with Richard Hatch, Dirk Benedict and Herb .  I love the original Battlestar, so much it was the first TV show I was allowed to stay up past my bedtime to watch,. I bought this a while ago and was going to watch it then, but then Richard Hatch died and it made me to sad to watch it.  This also reminds me that I need to buy the new series as well.

Tremors 2: Aftershocks - For me this is the weakest of the four I’ve seen. I originally thought it was 3, but watching them back to back like this,   yeah this one is definitely missing the Tremors magic.
