It's Curling's Fault

The WIPocalypse blog was due last Sunday but between work and the Canadian Women's Curling Championship I ended up very delayed.  But a day off happened and here it is.

The question of the month is
What SAL’s are you participating in this year? and If you are participating in the Olympic Stitching Challenge, what challenge are you accepting?  What are your goals?

I don't usually do a lot of SAL's, just this one and Carla and Leonore's Halloween SAL when I like the pattern.  However this year I am also doing the Mini Mandala-a-Month from Brodeuse Bressane, this is a one quick pattern a month thing that I will do in a grid and put a border around, sometime during the year. The plan is to make the first Critical Role show in a month the night to do the mandala

Being obsessed with the Olympics, I will of course be doing the Olympic Stitching Challenge. In specific I will be doing the Endurance Challenge, I will hopefully finish this lovely Christmas thing from Dimensions and then see what happens. I still have a week to plan this out.

I also finish finished the other NYESAL biscornu

As for what I watched

Critical Role: 500ish hours of content later and now season 2 begins
and Talks Machina

Star Trek DS9 - S01 E07-Ep09

Supernatural S13 E05-08

The Greatest Showman - I know it’s a little early to say this, but I’m sure this is my favorite movie of
2018

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - So I’m a little late, but I got there, and
thoroughly enjoyed it,

Jumangi: Welcome to the Jungle - This was light-hearted and a lot of fun, I might have even enjoyed it more than the original.

Foul Play - A murder mystery/assassination plot movie from the 70’s starring Goldi Hawn and Chevy Chase, also a long time favorite of mine, it has a smart plot.

Scotties Tournament of Hearts - Canadian Women Curling Championships.

National Figure Skating Championships - I so wanted to go see it live, but I couldn’t quite swing it.

  2. Beautiful stitching. I hope your Olympic Stitching will be very successful!
I'm a little surprised you liked the new Jumanji that much. I haven't seen it yet since I thought it was just going to be nonsense.
